The company is in search of a Senior Backend Engineer/Architect who is enthusiastic about pushing their boundaries to generate substantial value by harnessing the potential of the product within the trade industry.
The primary responsibility entails designing and developing platforms aimed at addressing the trade-related challenges that customers encounter and providing support for operational aspects within the trade industry.
The role involves close collaboration with product managers and business professionals who possess expertise in logistics and related domains, all focused on enhancing the backend of the Shippio product.

[The detail of the responsibilities]

Overseeing the overall architecture design and backend development of the product.
Taking the lead in making critical decisions concerning the construction and design of future machine learning capabilities.
Engaging in close collaboration with product managers and business experts to gain deeper insights into industry structures and business needs, facilitating alignment with product development efforts.

[What do you need to be successful in this role?]

A wealth of experience as a backend engineer.
The capacity to rapidly grasp the core dynamics of the industry and customer needs and to formulate suitable architectural solutions.
Robust communication skills and leadership qualities, enabling effective collaboration with diverse team members, including engineers and business professionals.
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
Fluent command of business-level English
A strong alignment with and embodiment of the company's core values.

Job Type : Full-time employee.
Work hours : Product/development job type | Specialized work-type discretionary labor system | Basically, the start time is 9:00 and the end time is 18:00, which is left to the decision of the employee.
