[What will you do?]

  • Active involvement in the development and design thinking process for the upcoming features of our product.
  • With the migration from our legacy system (Ruby) to a service-oriented one (Go) underway, there is an opportunity to reassess and identify new business opportunities to integrate into the new platform.
  • Crafting clean and high-performing APIs along with their components to drive the digital logistics infrastructure.
  • Taking ownership of significant segments within our service, making a substantial impact, and evolving in tandem with the company's growth. The role goes beyond coding; it requires a deep understanding of the real problems that need solving.

[What is our current stack?] 

We have a Ruby on Rails Back-End, deployed on AWS. We expose our APIs to our Front-End (written in React.js) via GraphQL. However, we are in the process of moving to a service architecture, so we would be happy to hear about your favourite technological stack to use in our next service! 

[Qualifications (Required)] 

  • They have at least 1 year of experience in Back-End application development.
  • They are proficient in implementing a modern user interface using a JavaScript web framework such as React, Vue, or others.
  • They are skilled at developing robust APIs.
  • They possess strong communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information to diverse audiences, ranging from technical to non-technical.
  • They hold valid work authorization, or they have obtained a degree in a related field for individuals who require visa sponsorship.
  • They are fluent in business-level English.

[Qualifications (welcome)] 

  • Proficiency in Japanese communication skills, which is highly appreciated.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to tackle new challenges.
  • A keen interest in contributing to B2B development, using their development experience as a leverage point.
  • A track record of working within a fast-paced product company, showcasing their ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
  • Work hours : We have full flex time for the Product division, however we have “meeting friendly hours” when we expect employees to be available.
  • Remote Work : We allow up to 4 day of remote work per week. 
  • Product/development job type | Specialized work-type discretionary labor system | Basically, the start time is 9:00 and the end time is 18:00, which is left to the decision of the employee.
