Sales Relationship Manager in Tokkyo, Japan
Within the Sales Division, the primary objective is to enhance Paidy's brand presence by engaging in initiatives that boost merchant revenue and Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV). The Relationship Manager's responsibilities include:
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with both current and prospective merchants and partners with the aim of elevating Paidy's GMV, revenue, and overall brand awareness.
- Identifying opportunities to generate new revenue streams by engaging in negotiations with merchants, aligning with strategic initiatives.
- Effectively addressing and resolving any challenges or concerns raised by merchants while also identifying and creating opportunities for innovative proposals to further benefit Paidy and its partners.
- Suggest and execute initiatives and projects aimed at fortifying ties with key merchants.
- Examine market data to pinpoint prospects for further collaboration between current merchants and Paidy, aiming to boost revenue.
- Interact with current merchants to gain deeper insights into their objectives and requirements, subsequently sharing this information with other departments within the Sales Division.
Qualifications for this role include:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- A demonstrated track record as a Sales Leader, preferably with exposure to Partner Sales.
- Marketing experience is considered an advantage.
- Profound understanding of Fintech industry standards, technology, and overall business practices.
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese and proficiency in Business English.
- Experience in creating sales presentations and effectively managing internal stakeholders to spearhead new initiatives.
