In the role of a Data Analyst or Data Engineer at Mitumore, your responsibilities encompass all tasks related to data for our products. At Mitumore, data plays a pivotal role in informing most of our decisions. Here are a few examples of how data is instrumental in our operations:
- Data is utilized to enhance the list of questions posed to customers when they request a quote, resulting in a better user experience.
- Product improvement initiatives rely on data outputs to determine content and development priorities.
Your core duties involve constructing and maintaining the data infrastructure necessary for data computation, visualization, and extraction. Depending on your skills and experience, you may also work on developing and operating the matching algorithms that underpin Mitumore's automatic application or perform data analysis using Python.

Your mission is to execute a wide range of tasks related to Mitumore's data, including the creation and management of data infrastructure, supporting data-related aspects of various measures, and aiding in decision-making through Python-based analysis.
[Specific Role]
- Data Infrastructure: Create, operate, and support data infrastructure. Perform data aggregation and visualization primarily using SQL and Redash.
- AB Test Design: Collaborate with different departments to design AB tests for the measures they implement.

Mitumore encompasses "MeetsMore," a matching platform used by millions, and "MeetsOne," a SaaS product for field service providers. Each service within "MeetsMore" generates its own unique dataset. Achieving the desired visualization often requires creative approaches, as different methods may be needed for each service.
Given your collaboration with all departments within the company, you might need to function as a consultant, which enables you to develop various skills, including consulting, analysis, and data engineering. "MeetsOne" is still in its early stages of data analysis, allowing you to be part of the analysis process from its inception. You can also engage in building and analyzing data infrastructure across different platforms.

A desirable work experience for a Data Analyst or Data Engineer includes:
- Third-party experience in data extraction and analysis using SQL, KPI management, and visualization.
- Third-party experience in implementing data pipelines in a cloud environment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently formulate hypotheses related to business challenges and verify them through implemented measures.
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining data analysis infrastructure across various domains.
Desirable qualifications for a Data Analyst or Data Engineer include:
- Third-party experience with dbt (data build tool).
- Familiarity with databases like BigQuery and PostgreSQL.
- Practical experience in data analysis using programming languages such as Python.
- Proficiency in suggesting relevant data sources for analysis.
- Ability to utilize BI tools like Redash and Metabase, with hands-on experience in their usage, introduction, and implementation.
- Practical experience with GAS (Google Apps Script), BigQuery, and cloud platforms like GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS (Amazon Web Services).
- Strong English language skills at a business level.
- Understanding of statistics and machine learning concepts.
- Prior experience contributing to open-source software projects.
