The specific job details are below.

  • Spearheading the introduction of new worker-oriented products, particularly services aimed at consumers (ToC services).
  • Developing a comprehensive product strategy, roadmap, and detailed specifications for the new offerings. This includes market research, defining features, and setting the product's direction and objectives.
  • Managing the end-to-end project, encompassing task assignment, resource allocation, budget management, and ensuring the successful delivery of the project. This also entails building and supervising a dedicated team to execute the project efficiently.
  • This business is intrinsically linked to Mercari's group mission of "recycling all kinds of value and expanding everyone's potential."
  • As we establish a new business team with a small, highly skilled workforce, we must be prepared to assume cross-functional roles to ensure the successful launch of the business.
  • Creating a new business that leverages the extensive assets of Mercari, Japan's largest flea market app, presents a formidable challenge, but its potential impact is substantial if we achieve success.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A strong alignment with the mission and values of Mercari Group and its affiliated companies.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in product management, particularly for internet and smartphone products and services, or comparable expertise in related fields.
  • Proficiency in planning and crafting product value propositions, outlining the unique benefits and value that products bring to customers.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and effective communication skills to engage and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, inspiring their involvement in product initiatives.

Key qualifications and experiences sought for this role include:

  • Previous product management experience in the human resources industry, particularly in areas such as dispatch, recruitment media sales, or related segments.
  • A track record of successfully launching new products, demonstrating the ability to bring fresh offerings to the market.
  • Experience in product development that involves coordination with numerous stakeholders, including sales, business development, legal, and other relevant departments.
  • The capacity to design product specifications with scalability in mind, particularly when building new products from the ground up.
  • Prior management experience, indicating leadership and team management skills.

Employment Status

Full-time

The probationary period at our company lasts for the initial three months after joining. During this probationary period, your contract conditions will be identical to those of a permanent employee.
