- The Tax team's role extends beyond merely offering support to investors, internal management teams, and various departments regarding accounting and taxation. - We are seeking candidates who resonate with the mission and values of the Mercari Group and its affiliated companies.
- Applicants should possess a background in accounting and tax, gained through a minimum of 3-5 years of experience at a tax accountant corporation or a publicly listed company.
- Additionally, candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in organizational management and team building within the tax domain, overseeing teams of 3 or more members.
- Applicants should also demonstrate a solid understanding and practical experience with various aspects of Japanese tax, including corporate tax, consumption tax, local tax, and withholding tax, as well as experience in handling tax audits.
- Experience with the consolidated tax payment system (group total system) is highly valued.
- Practical experience in reorganization tax systems is essential.
- Experience in preparing transfer pricing documentation and devising international tax strategies is advantageous.
- Practical experience in accounting operations related to tax effect accounting and tax calculations is also desirable.
- Candidates with experience in handling personal income taxes, particularly related to stock options, are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants who are well-versed in the intricacies of the internet business landscape are preferred.
- Holding a certified public accountant (CPA) or tax accountant certification is a notable advantage for this role.
